Who is she?Barbara Levin - Executive Director, Forum for Investor Advice
How do ya say her name?Say "heaven" then change the "h" to "l" and you'll say her last name perfectly.
Name of fund?Not a fund. Barbara is the executive director of a non-profit organization that offers educational advice and direction about the role and value of working with investment professionals like financial planners/advisors and brokers.
How long has she been at her job?The Forum for Investor Advice, (FIA), was founded in 1994 and she's been at it's helm since its inception. Along with providing information about the role of advisors, the FIA does research and publishes education brochures for advisors and investors. Some of the brochures titles they publish include, Bear Essentials: What to Do During Market Declines, and, Do Your Really Need a Financial Advisor?
Anything interesting about her?Plenty. Barbara likes spending her free time at the theater preferring serious drama to comedy, is an amateur landscape photographer and hiking is her favorite way to travel. Should you meet her, ask her about hiking in the lake district of Italy and Japan.
